CargoSpace launch terms

Operator Terms

These terms apply to operators, private drivers, transport SMEs, and fleets listing capacity on CargoSpace.

These are CargoSpace launch operating terms and should be reviewed by a South African legal advisor before broad public paid rollout.

Operator status

Operators are independent service providers and are responsible for their own drivers, vehicles, permits, insurance position, tax position, and legal compliance.

CargoSpace is a facilitator, marketplace, coordination layer, and trust-record system. CargoSpace is not the carrier, insurer, underwriter, bank, escrow provider, courier, freight forwarder, or payment institution unless a separate written agreement says otherwise.

Verification and conduct

CargoSpace may request ID, licence, vehicle registration, business registration, insurance proof, bank confirmation, route evidence, photos, references, or other trust records before increasing access to leads or bookings.

Operators must treat cargo carefully, communicate delays quickly, follow agreed pickup and delivery instructions, and provide requested proof such as pickup photos, delivery photos, recipient confirmation, or notes.

Payouts and disputes

Operator payout timing depends on the launch payment workflow, confirmed delivery evidence, dispute status, and any payment partner rules. Same-day release must only be promised where operationally available.

CargoSpace may pause lead access, match alerts, payout coordination, or account access while investigating fraud, damage, non-delivery, misrepresentation, or safety concerns.
